YOUTH

At the Dunn Lewis Centre

We know that as a young person, you have a lot to deal with

The pressure of school, finding work, what’s happening to your environment, and knowing what path to choose next.

We built this centre to relieve some of those pressures – by providing space for recreation, programs to build work skills and local connections, and a place where you can be heard.

We want to support you to create what you need

OUR CURRENT PROGRAMS

Did you know that the Dunn Lewis precinct was created with the help of local youth? Young people were consulted on what local youth needed - and the Dunn Lewis centre came to be.

We are still listening. We create all of our programs based on what young people have said is needed, so get in touch, and help us forge a youth inspired future.

WEDNESDAY
CONNECT GROUP

An afterschool program where different activity providers are invited in by young people to host activities each week. The program aims to provide a space to have fun and build connections.

SHOALHAVEN
YOUTHLOCAL

Youth-produced podcast focussed on what young people feel is important to know, from life-skills to local stuff to do. You can find Shoalhaven Youthlocal on all good podcast directories.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

As well as Youthlocal and our Wednesday connect group, we run some great after-school activities including a weekly climbing club, youth pickleball, and a youth and children’s theatre group. Download our term program to see what’s on.
